In accordance with Part I2 of the Association’s constitution, notice is given of the 2013 Annual General Meeting of the Gold Creek School Parents and Citizens Association.
The meeting will be held in the Senior Site library at 6:30pm on Wednesday 26 February 2014. A copy of the agenda for the AGM and first General Committee Meeting can be downloaded from the following link.
Are you looking for ways to get involved at the school?
The P&C covers the Pre-School, Primary and Senior sites at Gold Creek. All are welcome to attend the meetings, which serve as an important opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest and extend the communication between the parent body and the school.
The P&C runs popular end of term barbecues on the Primary Site, two discos, end of term family dinners and various other fundraisers, all aimed at improving the facilities and resources at the school.
Nominations are also open for two parent and community members on the School Board. The School Board is responsible for the school’s strategic direction. It is a formal mechanism for parents, carers, staff and students to participate in school decision making. Nominations should be submitted on the Gold Creek School Board Parent and Citizen Member Nomination Form 2014 by no later 11:00am on 19 February 2014, to firstname.lastname@example.org; by hand delivery to the primary or senior site office, by fax to 6205 2966; or by mail to ARO, c/- Gold Creek School, Kelleway Ave Nicholls.
